The vision of the Board is that the heritage Paddle Steamer Ruby is the operating flagship of the historic Port of Wentworth, at the junction of the Murray & Darling Rivers.

To sustainably maintain, conserve & operate the heritage Paddle Steamer Ruby.

Goals

1. Operate the PS Ruby in a way which conserves & promotes the paddle steamer.
2. Operate the PS Ruby as a financially viable enterprise.
3. Work in partnership with local businesses & community organisations to promote the region & the heritage Port of Wentworth.
4. Establish business partnerships with the corporate & private sector & accredited education & training institutions.
5. Ensure strict compliance with the risk management strategies set down in the Safety Management System.
